CUMC CAMPING GROUP:   2013 DATES & INFORMATION

Come join the fun!  We have all types of campers (tents, RVs, etc) and all ages of campers on our trips.

The camping group is made up of all types of campers. We have young and old, singles, families, people who camp in tents, tent trailers, and rvs, some even just come for the day. So come and join the fun!  Here is a current list of our 2013 outings. To be added to the CUMC Camping Group E-mail list, contact Gina by email.

May 24-26 (Memorial Day Weekend):  Nine Mile Ranch. This beautiful campground is located in Nine Mile Canyon, about 25 miles from Wellington, UT. We will reserve the group site. There is awesome rock are in the canyon and one of our members has offered to lead us on a tour. There is hiking, the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum in Price, and the Cleveland Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry all in the area.

 July 12-14: CUMC All Church Camp, Pinecliff, UT.  Registration for this fun-filled weekend will open in May 2013  All ages are welcome!  Enjoy the beautiful mountains, cabins, hot water, food, and fellowship!

August 16-18: Anderson Cove Campground, Pineview Reservior. We have the group site reserved for this weekend. There is swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and the Ogden Valley Balloon Festival will be held across the lake in Eden, UT the same weekend.
  

             

CUMC CHURCH CAMP, PINECLIFF CAMP, UT
Pinecliff Camp is located up Chalk Creek Road,  18 miles from Coalville, UT. There is a junior high camp that is held   June  7-9.. Our CUMC youth work at the camp either before or after jr. high camp to do service projects. Elementary school children are able to go to Elementary Camp July 15 - 19.  Information on both the junior high and elementary camps is located at http://www.heyletsgotocamp.org. Each year, CUMC has an All Church Camp. The camp for 2013 will be held July 12-14.  It's a great time to relax and enjoy fun and fellowship.  Watch the website this spring  for information concerning all these camps.
