Vacation Bible School: Kingdom Rock: Where Kids Stand Strong for God- June 10th - 14th

9 am to Noon each day for ages 3 years (potty-trained please) to 6th Grade (completed).  Please note that VBS is earlier this year!  Register Now!!

 Special Events -

• Easter Eggstravaganza - March 30, 2013- We hosted Easter Egg hunts for 70+ children ages 1 year through 6th grades, followed by a potluck brunch in the gym for over 125!  Great fun was had by all! 
• Fall Festival - October 28, 2012 - Great fun was had by all!  Over 150 people enjoyed the great potluck and festivities.  The children also raised money for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF.  Good job!
• Advent/Christmas Program - December 9, 2012- A great big Thank You to all the teachers, parents and volunteers who helped make our annual Children’s Christmas Pageant and Advent Event such a success.  On Sunday, December 9^th we had 26 children present “The Road to Christmas”.  A special thank you to the children who had speaking parts, you were amazing!  They (and their parents) worked really hard to learn their parts.  We had 150+ enjoy the potluck afterwards with fun activities and a visit from that jolly, bearded fellow!

Nursery – infants through age 2 years

We provide loving childcare for infants and toddlers through age 2 in our Nursery on Sunday mornings in room 102 during the 9 am and 10:30 am Worship Services. Our Nursery is staffed by loving, fully trained adults who provide stories, crafts and music to our precious little ones.

We provide childcare for church sponsored events also. We ask that you call ahead to let us know you will need childcare for your event. You may make a reservation by contacting the church office or contacting Barb Jolley, Childcare Coordinator. Email.

A few reminders:
You must remain on the Christ United Methodist campus while your child is in childcare. Our childcare is a well child facility and we do not have the capability to care for children who are not feeling well. If your child is ill, please do not bring him/her to childcare.

5th & 6th Grade Tween Flicks

Meets on the second Sunday of each month at 5 pm during the school year for fellowship, spiritual growth, outreach projects, and group development.  Contact Barb & Jon Jolley for more information. 

Safe Sanctuaries

Because Christ United Methodist Church is a community of faith – a safe haven and sanctuary – where children and youth can be confirmed and strengthened in the way that leads to life eternal we have implemented a Safe Sanctuaries Policy. This policy requires all volunteer leaders and staff to complete sexual abuse prevention training and complete a background screening. Please refer any questions to Vanitta Conrad, Director of Christian Education at her Email.  Print, fill out, and send  reference form to Vanitta.
