Special Services
How often do we have communion? Who is welcome to participate?
We serve communion once a month. We believe that all who seek a relationship with Jesus are welcome to participate, regardless of whether you are a member or regular attender of Christ Church. Children are welcome to come forward with their parents.
How should I dress?
Christ Church is a "come as you are" church. Jeans or ties are equally welcomed.
What's available for my children?
We welcome all children at Christ Church. Children's programs and special events occur throughout the year. Our goal is to help every child learn about God's love for them. Caring and trained staff will help your child feel welcome and safe.
Children are welcome in worship and may stay with parents or leave after the children's time for Praise Mountain Children's Church at 9:00am or Miracle Mountain Sunday School at 10:30. Praise Mountain Children's Church continues between Memorial Day and Labor Day for children ages 3 years to 6th grade. Miracle Mountain Sunday School resumes after Labor Day.
Activity Bags containing children's bulletins and other quiet activies can be found in a basket in the Narthex (behind the glass wall of the sanctuary) or from the ushers. We offer nursery care for infants though two year olds, and Sunday School for ages 3 through 6th grade. You may also enjoy the worship service from the Narthex, where you will still be able to hear the service through the speakers.
Questions about the Children's Ministry Program should be directed to Vanitta Conrad, Email or 801-486-5473 ext 12.
What about my teenager?
During the school year Sunday School for Junior High and Senior High students is available at 9:00am, and youth groups for both ages meet at 10:30am. There are various musical opportunities for youth at Christ Church. To find out more visit our Youth page.
What if I need to talk or pray with someone?
Whether it's grief, unemployment, relationship difficulties or a feeling of spiritual dissatisfaction, we are willing to listen and pray with you, and journey through joys and life's difficult moments with you.
