UMW List of Circles

Claire Circle is comprised of "young" women ages 25 to 60 who enjoy fellowship and mutual support through numerous service projects, education and cultural studies. Claire Circle meets in the church parlor the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7pm except in June, July and August. Contact Kim Johnson 274-1163.

Martha Circle meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM in the church parlor. Each month we have an informative program and refreshments. Martha Circle's membership consists of mostly retired women. We welcome women of all ages. Contact Mary Ann Allison 278-9223.

Witty Knitters is a group of mature women that love to share their talents in knitting or crocheting from beginners to advanced abilities. They make and give prayer shawls and prayers in the hopes of providing comfort to those in need. Contact Saundra Shaffer 485-4926.

Deborah Circle is a group of ladies, mostly retired, who are actively learning each month and entertain all comers with old-fashioned graciousness and homemade refreshments. Contact Kathie Mawson 467-4503 or Cathy Perryman 272-0853.

Ruth Circle meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 11am in the parlor for lively discussion and programs. These women share fellowship and lunch (bring a sack lunch). Contact Mary Breitling 277-3419 or Doris Fagley 278-1486.

Lydia Circle is a diverse group of women that meet the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10am either at church or at a local restaurant. Contact Lorraine Lakey 277-5695.

Book Club meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 1pm in the parlor. The group chooses a book each month to read and discuss. Four of the books each year are selected from the United Methodist Women’s Reading Program. Contact Gina Kiechle 583-7644.

Evening Knitting Circle is a group of women of all ages who meet to knit and crochet prayer shawls. No experience is required as instruction occurs at 6:30 pm the third Wednesday of each month. The knitting/crocheting continues until 8pm. Contact Donna Thomas 466-6243. 

Hannah Circle is a group of women of all ages who meet the first Saturday of each month at the United Methodist Committee on Relief Depot (UMCOR West), 1479 South 700 West at 9am to cut and sew items for relief kits.
